GVAPO Tripinović – Founder, Nautical Armor Anodes
We deliver Operational Certainty.
If you supply sacrificial anodes to service yards, a late pallet can damage your whole week.
Nautical Armor helps EU distributors and service yards keep anode supply predictable with Collaborative Forecasting.
Peak season creates a simple trap.
Everyone orders late, everyone wants priority, and someone gets delayed.
The pain shows up fast:
late arrivals, stockouts, and cash stuck in slow-moving SKUs.
You know the moment
A job is booked, the boat is out of the water and sitting in the yard, and the anodes are the missing piece.
You start chasing updates. Your team starts improvising.
Your customer starts losing patience. You start losing money and nerves.
You shouldn’t have to run your season like that.
Actually, you shouldn’t have to run any of your projects like that.
Here is the founder lesson that pushed me to build systems around delivery.
Never promise something you cannot deliver.
Early in my career I heard a sentence that sounds brave: “fake it until you make it.”
Then it turns into overpromising, and the delivery becomes exhausting.
I lived that from both sides.
I overpromised and paid the price. I also waited for others to deliver and watched projects get damaged by weak follow-through.
That lesson is learned the hard way
When I started Nautical Armor, one rule came first: do not overpromise. Never.
When we deliver on time and the customer is satisfied, everyone feels smart.
The team is motivated, the customer is calm, and the next cycle gets easier.
That is the foundation for Collaborative Forecasting.
It removes guessing so the promises stay real.
The plan (3 steps)
- You send an early 60-day forecast (a draft order that is usually 80–90% accurate).
- We reserve production time against that draft, before the rush.
- About 20 days before shipment, you send the final order, and we complete the balance from stock or additional production and ship on the agreed schedule.
Three simple reasons this works:
- Your production slot is protected early
- Arrivals become predictable, so fewer emergencies
- Inventory gets leaner because panic stock becomes less tempting
Operational terms:
- MOQ: 1 pallet, mixed SKUs (approx. 850–1,250 kg)
- Capacity: up to 4 pallets per week
- Incoterms: EXW (door delivery available at cost)
- Documents: EUR.1 + CMR
- Quality: MIL-A-18001K compliant; chemistry in line with MIL-DTL-18001L (per COA); traceability; ±3%
Forecasts change. Don’t worry. We expect that.
This loop is built for reality and reliability, not perfection.
You shouldn’t have to guess whether your anode supply will hold during peak season in the first place, and with Nautical Armor Collaborative Forecasting, you won’t.
If peak-season guesswork is hurting your deliveries, Collaborative Forecasting is built to stop that.
